My work from home outfits post is a little late this week, because for the last three nights I've been enjoying celebrating our one year wedding anniversary with my husband in the mountains.
But today I'm back, and ready to get to blogging!
Monday:
Just as I said I was going to last week, I started off with a sundress. Just a simple cotton halter top dress, but when you add in some accessories, it goes from wear-to-the-beach to work-at-home-casual.
Dress: Victoria's Secret, Cardigan: Old Navy, Earrings: etsy, Sunglasses: Target
And since everyone keeps commenting on my shoes from previous weeks, I thought I'd include a little pop out photo of each of my shoes this week. We can all use a little more shoe porn in our lives, right? :)
Purple Heels: Chinese Laundry
Tuesday:
This skirt is new-ish and from Old Navy. But I'm really not sure what else I can wear it with, except maybe a white or navy T-shirt that's un-tucked? The ruched yellow waistband is a little annoying without a belt, but I couldn't resist the bright and colorful pattern on the skirt, and how flouncy it is!
Top: Target, Skirt: Old Navy, Belt: BCBG, Bracelets: Forever 21
Platform Wedges: Candies
Wednesday:
So, last week I was disappointed with how un-dressed up my pink T and shorts outfit felt, even with adding in heels and accessories. So this week I thought I'd throw in a jacket, and I think this is definitely a step in the right direction toward dressing up outfits with shorts.
Jacket: Old Navy (probably about 5 years old though)
But really, who was I kidding? There's no way I'm going to really be wearing a jacket outside in the 90 degree weather we've been having! It works for inside in the AC, but to leave the house, I'd have to look more like this:
Top: Target, Shorts: Old Navy, Necklace: Target, Headband: Target
I've decided headbands are going to be my new thing. But only the stretchy ones that go around my head, and hold my hot, heavy hair off my neck a little. Oh, the things I'm learning about living in a humid climate!
Floral Heels: Guess
Friday:
Yes, no Thursday, because for some reason I seem to not do well on Thursdays with putting on real clothes. One of these days though, maybe I'll hit all 5 workdays!
But for Friday, I chose an oldie but goodie outfit: A sundress that was just casual enough to wear out to lunch with Miss Magic, but also dressy enough to wear out to dinner with my husband that same night. +1 for not having to iron twice in one day! And another +1 for not having to cook at all that day! :)
Dress: Target (purchased last spring), Belt: Target, Headband: Target (Ok, maybe I should have just written, "Pretty much all from Target," since apparently I'm cheap and it seems to be my favorite store!)
Heels: Michael Antonio
And just for fun, here's a closer look at my belt. I really like how it goes so well with the woven detail up the sides of my heels!
Another week down, and so far, I feel pretty good about my goal of getting out of my PJs while working from home. And I haven't repeated any clothing items over the last 4 weeks of doing this, except for a few jewelry pieces!
I wonder how long I can keep that up, especially since I'm done buying anything new for the rest of summer, now that I've stocked up on Target tank tops (two of which you saw this week). I guess I'll just have to keep this weekly series going for a little bit longer to find out!
How often do you wear the same clothing items? Do you try to go a long time without repeats, or do you have to work in some staple items more often?

I love the skirt! Sooo cute - I need more skirts in my wardrobe but I'm terrible at figuring out what to pair them with!
You are such an amazing shopper! I would personally like to invite you down to Florida to shop for me. I actually have that Vicky's dress but its too snug on me to be appropriate for work. Boo.
I do, however, pair up a lot of sun dresses with cardigans. 90-100 degrees with a whole lotta humidity just calls for that.
All of your outfits are so cute, and I love the shoes. I am also really into the shorts/blazer look you are rocking above! I try not to repeat for at least two weeks, but if I have to wear a suit everyday, it's too hard (I have about 10 suits, only 4 or 5 of which I actually like!)
I love both of the dresses and the floral shoes - way too cute!
Your hair always looks amazing by the way. I never look half as good as you, and I work outside of home!
I hope you had a great time celebrating in the mountains! My anniversary trip to St. Maarten is coming up in just four weeks. Yay! I also try not to repeat entire outfits for about a month, and I've been doing better about not working in my PJ's, either. :)
Those Michael Antonio shoes are my FAVE. Seriously. I need those in my life.
Love the Friday dress and the Michael Antonio heels!
Loving the Friday dress!
Thursday's shoes are freaking adorable, and the belt & shoes for Friday are perfect!
Great outfits, Morgan!!
I'm still impressed at how dressed up you get for working from home! Just wanted to throw that out there!
I am a freak about repeat outfits...so I rotate my closet. I only pull from the left side of my closet, and newly laundered items are hung on the right...over time things shift down to the left, and then it is their time to be worn again! I do the same thing in my drawers; newly laundered clothes are put at the bottom (yes, I pull out the entire stack already in there so I can put the new stuff on the bottom)...and as you can guess, I only take from the top. It sounds crazy, but I think it also makes me really wear almost every item in my closet, and I don't repeat things too often (unless I realllly like something, and then I end up wearing it a lot...I can't 100% stick to my program...).
So cute! I love how well all your accessories go with your outfits, and the light, springy feel to your clothes. You should see me, I'm terrible, jeans + black top every day!
The dress you wore on Friday is so cute! That neckline is SUPER seriously flattering on you.
Shoot...now I want to go shopping.
