Monday:
An outfit that with the addition of a cardigan or jacket, I would totally have worn into the office. But in the heat of summer, with only my cats to see me, no way am I wearing anything to make me hotter than I need to be!
Top: Victoria's Secret, Skirt: JCPenny, Mother of Pearl Necklace and Earrings: One of those stores at the mall that specialize in silver jewelry
Nude Heels: Steve Madden
Tuesday:
Today's outfit, in retrospect, was a little more casual that I would have liked. Which means it was great for the area we live in now (which tends to be a bit more casual overall than San Francisco), but I never feel as comfortable in casual outfits as I do in dressier ones. Except this outfit, with the flowy skirt was comfortable, so....well, whatever. Not my favorite outfit, but not the worst.
Also, my hair looked way better in person. Straight-on photos don't do it justice.
Top: Macy's, Skirt: Victoria's Secret, Necklace and Earrings: Target, Hair Flowers: Silk flowers from Michaels
Blue Kitten Heels: Target
Wednesday:
After dressing down a little the day before, I felt like dressing up this sundress with some tall heels and curly hair. I usually just wear this dress with flip flops, so it was a nice change.
Dress: Anthropologie, Bracelet: (it's really just a necklace wrapped around my wrist a few times) Target
Snakeskin Black Heels: Michael Antonio
Thursday:
It's hard to tell in the photos, but I really love the tiny embroidered flowers all over this skirt. Also, the pink top is the shell that goes with the pink cardigan I wore last Thursday. I always like to buy the matching cardigan + shell if it's available, since they're so versatile--they can be paired together, worn separately with something else, or just by themselves.
Shell Top: Target, Grey Skirt: Old Navy, Necklace: NY&Co
Pink and Black Ombre Heels: Michael Antonio (I also have an old pair of them in a rounded toe pump, and I loved them so much, I just had to buy a similar pair when the old ones started to wear out!)
Friday:
Another not-so-casual Friday! Although I'll admit that that night I did dress down to go over to a friend's house to help with wedding crafting and drink wine. As much as I do love to dress up, I knew this was too dressy for the occasion. :)
Ruffled Dress: Target, Belt: BCBG, Bracelets: Forever 21
Buckle Heels: Target
And now for some more outtakes photos!
This week, after seeing that my updo on Tuesday didn't photograph very well from the front, I was obsessively wondering how my hair would translate on Thursday. I've been trying to do more with my hair other than just curl it, but it's been a while, and I wasn't very sure of my hair skills. So I turned to the camera for some close ups, before I took my outfit shots.
It's just some french braids, which are pretty hard to screw up, but for some reason I wasn't trusting my mirror (probably because of last week). So I took not one, not two, but three photos of just my hair. Crazy much?
And now you can see the junk in the background that I'm always having to crop out of the photos every week!
Seriously, do any of you have husbands/significant others who like to dress up more than you do? Or like to dress up at all?

All I want to say:
You looked like a temptress on Wednesday. A temptress or a saucy minx. Fact.
I love your Friday ruffle dress!
Love the Friday dress! I tried it on in red but it was wayyy shorter than yours and Im just 5'4. Wierd! Love the curly hair, too!
Oh man! I love so much about your wardrobe. Your Steve Madden shoes from Monday are so chic, Tuesday the flower in your hair is just adorable, Wednesday your hair is TO-DIE-FOR, Thursday great shoes again, and Friday is just gorgeous-love the dress. Oh and cute braided hair. I love braiding bangs back. It gets your hair out of your face for a while!
Cute wardrobe, and great heels! I am still trying to figure out how to curl my hair . . . time to look up your tutorial on that. My husband is the most dressed up at his office . . . in jeans and a polo. Every single day. Before I met him, he had only worn his suit once in the past five years. So yeah, I'm the dressier one of the two of us :)
Honestly, the way my husband dresses pisses me off. I know I'm not supposed to change a man in that way so I just let it be but he dresses so sloppy. I try to look put together for him, I wish he would try a little harder. But oh well. He gets upset when I try to talk to him about it.
I love ALL your heels in this post!
You would put me to shame if I worked at home...heck you put me to shame now! I work in a lab so I typically wear casual looks...putting on wedges makes me feel dressy!
Ah! I have that ruffled dress from Target (Friday) in blue! And yeah...like Erin said...it is a lot shorter on me too!
