Yep, I'm a day late with this post. That's because I learned just how valuable the concept of air conditioning is this weekend (we've never lived in a place with a need for AC until our current house).
Our AC went out sometime Saturday night, and I probably got heatstroke and almost lost my will to live. Or something slightly less dramatic. But I was hot and cranky all day Sunday, with it getting up to 91 degrees on the top level of our house! Luckily around 4pm the maintenance guys came out and had it fixed within about 20 minutes. But it still took hours to cool down the house, and at midnight it was still 81 degrees inside.
Anyway, all of this is to say, I didn't feel like cropping and uploading outfit photos on Sunday night. Nope, instead I hid in our cooler basement, watching Paris Hilton reality TV on my laptop. My husband did say that he thought my TV choice contributed to my loss of will to live though....

Dresses were my main choice this week, and really good for the crazy heat we've been having. Sunday was the 5th day in a row with 100+ degrees in our area. My solution has been dressing cool, and not going outside until after it gets dark out, which luckily I can do since I don't have to leave the house for work! I'm not sure I'll ever fully adjust to these temperatures though--and I think I'm starting to crave scarves and boots weather!
Is anyone else starting to look forward to fall fashion yet?

I spy your cute green and purple Anthropologie dress! Cute outfits . . . I am definitely starting to think about fall fashion. We are having one of our usual SF summers with foggy/chilly mornings and afternoons in the high 60s/low 70s. Definitely fall-ish weather that will warm up just in time for fall when I should be wearing all of the cute layers that are bound to come out. 100+ is extreme, but I think I'd like to live somewhere that had "real" seasons :)
While I generally don't like outfit posts - I LOVE yours because of the shoes.
