I'm participating in the October Photography Challenge by Our Wired Lives this year, to push myself to try to take a photo each day, and learn some new things on my camera. For more details on the challenge, go here.
Here are my photos from the first week of October.
Cell phone picture, while on one of my walking breaks from jogging. I like to think about my 'to do' lists while jogging, and of course I remembered I needed a photo for the challenge after I messed up my hair and didn't have on much makeup!
Some of my extensive necklace collection, hanging at the end of a garment rack.
A sweet kitty on the guest room bed. Ready for snuggles.
I love the nature in our yard. I took this out our front window, just before the dragonfly flew away.
We don't get a sunset view from our house, with all of the trees. And so I took a photo of the early evening sun before it went out of view.
One of our two bird feeders outside our breakfast nook window. The trick is waiting until the feeder stops swinging AND the bird stops moving for a second to get a clearish shot. This took me a good 20 minutes!
From a Distance
Get it? Tape measure, distance? Measuring for the floor tile we installed yesterday.
