This year, I am thankful for:

• The love I have for my husband and family
• That we are all happy and healthy
• I am thankful that the big storms on the east coast missed us this year, but saddened for everyone who suffered
• My steady job, and that my sister is finally employed again
• The opportunity to give my time to volunteer and help raise money for those who need support
• That all of our hard work finally paid off and we were able to buy our first house this year
• I am thankful that even though we now live far away from most of our immediate family, we still get to spend Thanksgiving with people we love
