Seriously, out of all the many appetizers I made the week before Christmas, and all the big meals I cooked while family was in town, this was my very favorite thing I ate.
The original recipe is from Yummy Mummy Kitchen, and so easy to make. You just soak the cranberries overnight in maple syrup, then drain and roll in sugar for the beautiful snow berry look. Then just layer on a cracker your brie, cranberry chutney, and the cranberries, along with a small mint leaf. Even though it looks like just a garnish, don't skip the mint, it really adds to the flavor.

Now I just need to have a few more winter parties to go to where I can bring these appetizers, just as an excuse to make more! So please, try them for yourself the next time you're in need of a cool weather appetizer. They're amazing!
