The best part of the B&B was the screened porches over the waterway.
Back at the beach the next morning.
Pretty empty around 10am.
But around noon, these annoying people set up right in front of us. I don't know what it is, but we seem to be magnets for rude people at the beach. Look how everyone else is spread out, but the people to the left of the photo are like 3 feet away from us. Seriously, would it have killed them to walk an extra 15 steps before sitting down? I'm not sure why people always think I want to hear their dumb conversations when I'm trying to relax on the beach!
Also, I'll just say it now. I'm not a public beach person. Which I didn't realize until this trip, but walking all the way to the pier to use the pit toilets with no where to wash my hands, and listening to screaming children is not my idea of fun. I guess I was spoiled on the beaches in NorCal, where hardly anyone was ever there. Of course, the water was too cold to swim, so that might explain it. Next beach trip, I need a secluded resort, or a private house, so I can have a much less crowded beach, and have a place to use a real restroom and wash my hands!
After our second day at the beach, while getting ready for dinner, my husband called for me to come quietly out on the porch. Deer! :)
And then I decided we needed a picture together on the porch.

We spotted this bright green dragonfly walking into the restaurant for dinner.
After dinner our last night at the beach, we were treated to a pretty sunset from our porch.
Right after the sun set behind the clouds, it was time to open this, and relax after a long day in the sun.
