Because I can make my own Cheddar Bay Biscuits at home!
For me, their biscuits are the only real reason to eat at Red Lobster, considering there are so many better seafood restaurants in our area. But last week, Marissa, aka Mrs. Yorkie from Weddingbee, linked to this fabulous recipe for imitation Cheddar Bay Biscuits, and I just had to try it!
And I wasn’t disappointed one bit! These were made within minutes (I doubled the amount of garlic powder though!), and dropped onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet in no time. For my first experience using parchment paper, I'm sold on it because it worked really well (thanks to those of you who confirmed for my dumb-self that yes, it can be purchased in the grocery store).

15 minutes later they were done! They didn’t last long, so I had to take some quick shots before I took the platter out to the table!
Seriously so, so good! And a great, easy way to revive my baking skills, since I think this is the first thing I’ve baked (except frozen pizza) since last Christmas. I'm thinking these might be a good contribution to Thanksgiving dinner, since they're dense, so they stayed warm quite a while, and could easily be transported and reheated in the oven.
Anyone else love Cheddar Bay Biscuits as much as we do?
