This Is One Seriously Skilled Driver!

Well, we're in our new house, with all of our belongings safely in Raleigh! But it will take a while for me to catch up on everything, and get everything unpacked. We've got furniture set up in about half of our rooms, but only one room is decorated so far (I'll try to take some pictures and post tomorrow).

While I'm trying to get caught up on work, unpacking boxes, and just life, I thought I'd take a minute to share some photos of our amazingly talented moving truck driver negotiating the giant truck into our long, skinny driveway at the end of a cul-de-sac. I still have no idea how he managed to turn the truck around with inches to spare, and then back it in in less than 5 minutes--this is one of the biggest long haul trucks on the road!

In the end we weren't very happy with the Bay Area 3rd party company who did our moving estimate and handled the paperwork, but we would definitely seek out our wonderful Mayflower driver and his load and unload crews again. There's definitely a reason he's the #1 rated driver in the company; he was great to work with, and really knew his stuff!
