Autumn Decor: Probably Enough For This Year

We finally had a break in the rainy weather, so I could put out the rest of our autumn decor. As tempted as I am to buy or make more, this will probably be it for this year. Gotta start planning/saving for Christmas, since this will be the first year we get a tree, and we hardly have any ornaments.

But I'm happy with the extra color the additional pumpkins give our front steps. And I couldn't resist putting some corn stalks on our handrails. I also want to put the leftover cornstalks on either side of our mailbox post, and wrap it with orange ribbon, but I haven't had the chance yet.

Inside our house has gotten a little autumn-love as well, but only just a little. Hopefully next year we'll have a fireplace mantle to decorate, but for now I've just used our TV stand.

The front porch is the most important place to decorate for autumn anyway! Hopefully the trick-or-treaters will appreciate it in a few weeks.

Are you ready for Halloween? Will you be giving out candy, or will you be going out? I'm sad it's on a Wednesday this year, so we probably won't go anywhere that evening. Weekend Halloweens are so much more fun!
