I've also written about my almost-as-deep love for Sara Bareilles. I even got to meet her in person once!

Well, back in December 2008, I got to see Ingrid and Sara in concert together (along with Lenka, Buckcherry, Alanis Morissette, and another one of my favorite bands, O.A.R.). It was the first time I ever heard their duet, Winter Song.

I'd forgotten all about this song until I rediscovered it this year. And I found that it has the most adorable animated video to go along with it. This song has been seriously haunting me for the past few weeks. It is actually rather sad, but I love the feeling of hope at the end of the video.
So I thought I'd share, in case you've never heard this beautiful song before. I bet you'll find yourself listening to it over and over too!
Have you come across (or rediscovered) any songs this year that you just can't get out of your head?

I'd never heard that one before! I heard Time Lapse Lifeline by Maria Taylor on a blog, and can't stop listening to it now.
Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles are two of my favorite singers. So cool you got to see them perform together! I love this song too. I discovered it a couple of years ago through the Hotel Cafe holiday album: http://www.hotelcafe.com/wintersongs/. The entire album is really good!
This is a great song! I'm usually not a fan of songs that people post on their blogs, but this one is beautiful :)
I'd never heard this song before but just listened and love it! I love musicals and have recently reloaded songs onto my iPhone from favorites I've seen over the years, including Aida and Les Miserables. Music always help impact my mood so much!
what a nice song! we recently heard peter paul and mary's "for baby" and have been singing it for days.
That's actually a pretty cool crappy cell phone camera picture. :) I had never heard this song before and honestly, had hardly heard of the artist! I think I have seen her name pop up on Sirius once or twice but never put her name with a song.
