Autumn Decor: So Far

After being inspired by autumn decor last week, I was able to sneak away last night from our continuing bathroom renovation and get a few decor items up on our porch!

It's just a first pass at decorating though--I've got more I'll be putting out, but it got dark too dang quick last night for me to finish. I hate that it's starting to get dark so early, it's one of the only things I don't like about fall!


And we've got a couple of days of rain in the forecast, so all of the steps will have to go pumpkin-less for a bit longer. I barely managed to snap these few pictures between rain showers, before it started sprinkling again.

Oh well, at least I'm happy I managed to get this much out by October 1st. And I couldn't resist making a new autumn wreath too. I'll put out last year's candy wreath for Halloween, but I like that this new one can work through Thanksgiving too.

Did you get any of your fall decorations out this weekend? I can't believe it's already October--I think the recent rain we've been having has finally made it feel like the seasons are changing!
